DEBARY, FL — August 11, 2026 — Maloy Aircraft today announced the appointment of Tim Farley to its Board of Directors as an independent director. The appointment adds extensive aircraft engineering, certification, and program leadership experience to the Board as the company advances the MA-1 Blue Jay through development and certification planning.

Farley brings more than three decades of experience in aircraft design, product development, technical management, and engineering leadership. He previously served as Vice President of Engineering at Gulfstream Aerospace, where his work included the Gulfstream V powerplant program and the development of the G450 and G550. His experience spans aircraft design, structures, systems integration, product reliability, project engineering, research and development, testing, engineering operations, and certification support for civil and military aircraft.

Farley began his career as an engineer at McDonnell Douglas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering and a Master of Science in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

As an independent director, Farley will provide oversight and strategic guidance across aircraft development, engineering execution, certification readiness, and technical risk management. He will help the Board evaluate program priorities, challenge assumptions, and balance technical progress with program risk, responsible use of capital, and the long term interests of the company.
